Weekly NetMontgomery County ARES® holds a weekly net on Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. The net uses the 147.020 (+ tone 136.5 Hz) repeater. The backup repeater is 147.140 (+ tone 136.5 Hz). Simplex back up is 146.560 Mhz.We also accept digital check-ins begining at 7:00 pm continuing during the calling of the roster. Digital check-ins use PSK31 on 28.120 Mhz USB or packet on 145.030 Mhz by following the directions given on these frequencies. Repeaters are used with permssion of the trustees Tommy Hayes N5PJY and Tom Butler N5KWN. Monthly Simplex TestOn most months we conduct a simplex test to determine how well we can communicate on our back simplex frequency. Monthly MeetingMontgomery County ARES® meets the second Thursday of every month at 7:30 PM at the Lone Star Convention Center. The address is 9055 FM 1484 Rd, Conroe, TX.
